A Day in the Life

A Tiki Sort of Morning

Most of my sailing isn't sunset cruises with only 4 hours of sleep on the open ocean. I also get the luxury of racing sailboats. Part of which requires showing up early at the club for coffee and waiting.

A fundamental part of that project is the waiting. On this particular Sunday, there was to be no races. Just laying around, chatting, and staring off into the distance.

The best part was either the Canadians drinking at 9 am, or trying to dry out the boat at the end of the waiting. Or, Dave Baum vogueing in front of the McNulty Cup.

We were all a little bored. But, it gives a great opportunity to actually get time to hang out and meet each other.
