So, yeah. We went to the district. It was fast furious and tiring. Unfortunately everything couldn’t be fit in. But, we did we get in a fair amount.
Begin in the beginning. It is incredibly nice to be able to take public transportation about. Our first ride was to the mall.

Another city vs. nature reserve animals. Squirrels, as we all know, are oddly ok and unweary of human kind. Which is weird, but understandable. What kind of nutjob human is going to eat a squirrel (me). Anyway, so I go to take a picture of a downtown squirrel. Got really close. Really close. Went home, opened the picture, realized the damn thing was covered in scabby pusing sores. Ugh. I don’t think such a diseased animal would survive in the ‘wild’.

Careful little guys. It is odd, when you see geese out in nature, they are reasonably attractive birds. When you see them scrounging in an unkempt wide median, crapping on the sidewalk not so much. Pests.

That just has to hut. And, ref, why would you get involved in that mess? I see you refs let guys just deck each other without nary a move to stop them. But, two guys going full speed, that’s when you get involved. No wonder you are mired in the minor leagues.

Nature in the city is funny. This guy was hanging out with his beaux in the water, swimming around having a good time. Except, the water was a tepid mud puddle of run off from the bike path. It, frankly, was pretty icky. Anyway,
