The same bus stop I waited at for two years to go to school. Every morning. Well, every weekday morning, that wasn't a Friday, or during breaks in school. Otherwise, every day. Summer school and "Winterim" alike. So, to get a picture I liked from there was rather amazing. Usually one habituates to such situations, until you can no longer see the beauty that surrounds you. Random Overlooks

From outside of one of the MSOE buildings I found a very nice overlook down a wide boulevard. During my wanderings about the city I find such overlooks. Some are more panaramic, some are long views down streets, and some are low wide views over an empty lot. In any event, they are great to find, and better to shoot. Enjoy, jon

Already Breaking Strategy

Whatever, its my blog. From the top of the stairs I could see this monster of a fish at Discovery World's basement aquarium. Logan was busy checking out the little fish, and I had some trouble getting his attention. Until I told him about the Logan sized fish. Which he then interpreted as this being a "Logan Fish". After they got acquainted with each other I acquiesced and decided that this indeed is a "Logan Fish". Enjoy, jon

Over on Ogden and Prospect. I used to live right up the street using the commons for various Scrabble outings. Now I live near a coffee shop where I play Scrabble. Some things may change, but many things stay the same. Enjoy, jon

New Strategy

The new strategy is to cruise through the backlog of years past before I get to new stuff. This is mostly to keep everything in order so that I don't spend fifteen minutes trying to remember if I posted a picture or not. Wilmette Race Week

Over my hiatus I have had bouts of no Internet, a new semester, a new work schedule, and a complete reformatting of my computer. Part of the reformatting was to lose all my carefully organized pre-sets for this here blog. I hope that my first round back after the break stuff looks right.
