Do you suppose they named it after the state they robbed the U.S. capital from? Never thought about that before. Or it could just be many D.C. streets are named after states.
The dominant buildings around the white house, banks. I’m sure that is because of the nearness to the Treasury, but I’m not ruling out more sinister reasons.
Still, some fantastic facades.
