From the time the Calatrava was built in Milwaukee it's architecture has been borrowed and built on. This particular example is part of a viaduct just outside of downtown. This particular one borrows elements, but doesn't truly mimic the style. Some other projects are not so well done. I appreciate the contrasts these lend to the city, from old to simple construction. - jon
