A classic for any photographer. All trip I looked for a flower growing in the middle of one of these and could never find it. This one was just a practice. I think it worked out pretty well. Enjoy, jon

Fuzzy Flower
So soft and cuddly. I wish I coulda brought it home with me. It was actually very difficult to take a picture of. Rather small and hard to get the feeling of fuzzy. Hope it worked! Enjoy, jon

That's Pretty High
Hard to breath up there. Really, not a whole lot the good ole oxygen. Totally worth it, that not breathing thing. Still could breathe I guess, just not that easily. Enjoy, jon

Framed!
He didn't do it! He was framed! And sitting at a friends house waiting to be hung! Just think, framed than hung. What a terrible fate. Enjoy, jon

Flowers over there
I wonder if there are flowers on the mountain in the background? Even though it looks bland and brown, I wonder if it is as covered with wonderful little flowers like this foreground? Wonder what mysteries the gray mountain top holds. Enjoy, jon

Water Fall
Oh no, and it'll be a long time before it gets back up. Some of it may take millennia before it gets back. Some may evaporate right away and be atop a new mountain. What about the water that stayed up, never to get down. Think water likes the ride? Or do you think water likes to be settled, in one spot more and all this traveling is a big pain in the ass? Or, is water like people, different strokes for different folks. Enjoy, jon

RMNP
Every spot we stopped in Rocky Mountain National Park was a window into a beautiful world. It was awe inspiring. You can look out and feel so distant from the beauty, yet know you are there in person looking at it. Hiking through it, touching it up close and personal. Enjoy, jon

Shoe Flower
Drives me nuts I didn't see my shoes and tripod until I got home. Blast. You work so hard on composition, then bam, there they are. I find some other technical issues with this photo, but nothing is as annoying than the shoes. Enjoy, jon

Such Stature
Wonderful blond flowing hair. Powerful stance. Gazing into the landscape of time. What beauty, what wonderment. Oh joy, that I was given a chance to photograph this beauty. Enjoy, jon

Hooray For Trees!
Seriously, aren't they great? Shade providin', oxygen given', backround makin', wonderful trees. I wish I could think of more praise, but I'm a photographer not a poet damnit. Enjoy, jon

Golf Course
From forest to grass. Colorado valleys are generally marked by a severe lack of water, or wetlands. There seems to be no in between. This area was the convergence between the lodge pole pines and a small wetland. Now its a grass land with ponds. Still better than condos I suppose. Enjoy, jon

Ack, Squirrel!
Not to worry, this little guy just wanted food. Not your undying soul, like so many other squirrels. Why science ever created evil vampire squirrels I will never know. Enjoy, jon

DOF Flowers
Every one a little less in focus. I think the almost purpulish space between the shadows is pretty cool. Enjoy, jon

Banks, Who Needs 'em?
Freakin' everyone. Hard to imagine that we all do, but we all do. Perhaps some day the will work efficiently and less destructively, but doubtful. Not because banks are evil, it is just a necessary part of their financial structure. Well, whatever. Enjoy, jon

A Real Bridge to Nowhere
Seriously, it ends where it starts. What's up with that? And there are more of them just like it. I must have seen three all together. Enjoy, jon

Lady of the Ocean
Legend says she turned to stone waiting for her lover to return home from sea. Guess he's not home yet. Enjoy, jon

Probably Wouldn't Swim
The North Pacific is April is cold. I never dipped in, or saw anyone else dip in for that matter. Probably a good endorsement of my title. Enjoy, jon

Memorial
Must be important with its fancy chain link fencing all around. It seems like quite the shrine. This one I never knew what it was for, so at least I didn't forget some thing. Enjoy, jon

New Favorite Flower
Seriously. Somewhat iridescent and luminescent. I would have gone back with a tripod to increase my focal area, but it had already been sacrificed to the constant march of seasons.
