Crazy Japanese stilt house. Apparently, the reason for this is that the snow gets high enough every winter to rise to the bottom of the first floor. Crazy. Enjoy, jon

Promise
A sort of combination between ATM, payday loan shop, and a loan shark. Charging outrageous interest and tied to the Yakuza, I wouldn't suggest making a Pu-ro-mi-tsu. Enjoy, jon

Dream Home Colorado
On the eighteenth hole of a golf course about two miles from my brother and ten miles to the resort. Enjoy, jon

Iowa Vista
A drainage pond. A highway. What a wonderful highway vista. A broken trailer forced me to stop, it was a giant pain. But, a pretty vista. Enjoy, jon

Forgot What this Was
It was in Quebecqua, looks important. Can't remember what it was. Or, what it is, I hope. It would be sad if its gone. Enjoy, jon

Sneak Attack Photography
The best kind. I don't know these married buddies of mine like this shot, but I do. So they have to deal with it. I believe I took this about a month before they got married. With the impending doom of being stuck in Milwaukee together, I was showing them some of my favorite parks to help them cope. Enjoy, jon

Bus Stop
The same bus stop I waited at for two years to go to school. Every morning. Well, every weekday morning, that wasn't a Friday, or during breaks in school. Otherwise, every day. Summer school and "Winterim" alike. So, to get a picture I liked from there was rather amazing. Usually one habituates to such situations, until you can no longer see the beauty that surrounds you. Enjoy, jon

Random Overlooks
From outside of one of the MSOE buildings I found a very nice overlook down a wide boulevard. During my wanderings about the city I find such overlooks. Some are more panaramic, some are long views down streets, and some are low wide views over an empty lot. In any event, they are great to find, and better to shoot. Enjoy, jon

Already Breaking Strategy
Whatever, its my blog. From the top of the stairs I could see this monster of a fish at Discovery World's basement aquarium. Logan was busy checking out the little fish, and I had some trouble getting his attention. Until I told him about the Logan sized fish. Which he then interpreted as this being a "Logan Fish". After they got acquainted with each other I acquiesced and decided that this indeed is a "Logan Fish". Enjoy, jon

Burns Commons
Over on Ogden and Prospect. I used to live right up the street using the commons for various Scrabble outings. Now I live near a coffee shop where I play Scrabble. Some things may change, but many things stay the same. Enjoy, jon

New Strategy
The new strategy is to cruise through the backlog of years past before I get to new stuff. This is mostly to keep everything in order so that I don't spend fifteen minutes trying to remember if I posted a picture or not. This, though admittedly lazy, has a side benefit to you, yes you, the reader. You will, eventually, get more up to date knowledge of my goings abouts. And what could be better than that? Enjoy, jon

Wilmette Race Week
Over my hiatus I have had bouts of no Internet, a new semester, a new work schedule, and a complete reformatting of my computer. Part of the reformatting was to lose all my carefully organized pre-sets for this here blog. I hope that my first round back after the break stuff looks right. Otherwise in my never ending anal-retentiveness I will have to redo it all. Enjoy, jon

Lilac Bloom
Ah, yes. The lilac bush. Tree? No, bush. Definitely bush. That's my other brother's house in the background. He actually called me to see if I wanted to take pictures of his bloomin' bush. I took him up and have a nice little series. Enjoy, jon

It Survived
The camera that is. Though a later race would claim it from me. Being a race, I rarely if ever get a shot off. This is one rare and glorious case. Well, maybe not glorious, it looks like it was a light air drifter. Enjoy, jon

A Statue Like Brother
Well, my more than one month break from the blog is finally over. I'm sure that I have eroded any remnants of a readership. But, hey. These things happen. Enjoy, jon
