Tao (Bar)

IMG_3032

Didn't get a chance to have a drink here, which is probably for the better. This club in Paris (the hotel), Las Vegas is famous for hosting the likes of Britney and Paris (the person), neither of which spells 'cool' to me. Also, if you would be so kind, please ignore the Orec vacuum in the corner.  It kinda ruins the shot if you notice.

More Natural

PB050063

Thought a little nature today.  Mix it up from cranes, cranes, and buildings. Though I am informed that there is indeed a crane in this picture as well.

Circus Circus

A small smattering of cranes in Las Vegas. I didn't find out what ridiculous project was going in this spot. Across the street they tore down the Frontier Casino, the contracted project was for a mere 6 billion dollars.

Cranes

P1010135

Downtown Milwaukee construction.  It all seemed very impressive up until I was in Vegas. Talk about building.  Whoo.

A Little Grainy

P1010033

Chicago skyline, jet flyover, sunset sail. Given that, I couldn't take out the tripod on a moving vessel for the long exposure night shot. Guess I'll just have to live with grainy.

Barbecue

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Niseko (Japan) is a dual season resort town. Skiing in the winter, white-water rafting in the summer.  Pretty sure this is a summer joint. Nobody told me if it was any good. Though judging by the tarps and plastic windows I'm guessing it is the best around.

Las Vegas (Again)

_1210370

After 25 long years of never being in Las Vegas let alone Nevada, I have managed two trips in the last 3 months.  This means as a vacation spot I have an excess of pictures to share. So, here we begin.

Swinging

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Always trying to snag people in little slice of life scenes battles the need for others to have privacy.  Otherwise I would have jammed the camera right in their faces.  Either way, it's a slice of life, just not very 'focused'.  Enjoy, jon
