I really enjoy the various signage about town. Some seem so purposeless, some too utilitarian, and some funny. I didn't see a door behind this sign, and for the life of me couldn't figure out wher the stairway was. Further, it reminds me of the dramatically more intersting "stairway to heaven". How anticlimatic would that be... you kick the bucket and all you see is a sign "stairay to roof".
