Drunk Bunny

My favorite part is that I did not set this up. This was outside my old apartment building as I waited for the bus. In fact I rushed back inside to grab my camera before the bus came. For whatever reason I get a tremendous kick out of this shot. Something about Bugs Bunny as an indigent drunk in my neighborhood was too much.

Background

This picture survived as my mother's and my desktop background for over a year combined. Something about it lends itself to a background. A sort of subtler muted beauty that doesn't fade over time. Well I hope you agree.

Cool

More like cool as in cold. One of my many shots out of a car window this reminds me of cool winters looking out at Colorado ranch country.

Isolation

Objects standing in contrast to there surroundings make my job easy. This abandoned shack was taken in Tabernash, Colorado. Interestingly it is most certainly not in the middle of nowhere. It is across the street from my brother's landscaping shop and the hills in the background our covered in 'McMansions'. Of course, I would like you to imagine this is some exotic mysterious location hidden in the mountains. So go ahead and do that.

Eloquence

Though I realize I am not the greatest writer, I do appreciate those who read my little captions. Watching a snow cat climb a hill in a wet snowstorm is beautiful and scerene. The lifts above were empty and the snow dampened the sound. It was special to have it so quiet in a busy spot.

Curbside Weeds

This particular flower is a curbside weed in the city. I passed by it several times before I took a shot. After I noticed that the stamin of this particular flower had an almost irridescent blue glow that stuck with me.
